My Kindle and Me
I have to say that in the last 3 1/2 years I have read more books than in the previous 50.....
I found the kindle so easy to pick up and put down, I could now read everywhere, and as I travelled a lot with only hand luggage it meant I could carry hundreds of books and not worry about the weight of a book (or the bulk).
Being a true Scot it also meant I could read great books for FREE! This meant I could try authors I had never heard of and also different genres.

The first book I downloaded (and also paid for) that was a "can't put down" book was The girl with the Dragon Tattoo, so of course I had to get the sequels ...........

I then went on to download Chickens Mules and 2 Old Fools in december 2010 ....... having bought a property in Spain in 2006 I found this account to be hilarious and so believable.
March 2011 was when I next found an amazing book it has to warrant 5 stars ....... Silver by Steven Savile, this is all action, intrigue and suspense in a plot laced with ancient secrets and modern terror.

My next memorable book was by Marianne K Martin, Love in the Balance.
This is pure romance!
Do you ever read a book and think it is almost talking to YOU? Telling you how you are feeling and why?
Well this book spoke to me, I loved it and went on to purchase almost all the other books Marianne K Martin has written, including: Mirrors, Never Ending, Dawn of the Dance.
My next best read is not just one by Ken McLure, but most of his books, he writes medical thrillers and they really make you think that these events could really have happened, the first one I read was Past Lives, and it takes you to many places I have been, Culzean Castle in Ayrshire, Edinburgh where I was born, Paris and Malta.
