I have recently purchased a Nutribullet.
After reading on Facebook where friends have posted about buying one and raved about it, I thought it was a gadget that had my name on it!!
The first couple of days were really trial and error, I don't like following recipes at the best of times, so when following the ones for this I obviously had to change things.
My idea of a recipe is to use it as a base.
It's where I will get an idea for something..... then change ingredients to the ones I know I like and if I am feeling adventurous add in something I am not too sure of.
Today's lunch is pictured on the right...... top pic is the before and obviously the one below is after a quick zap!!
So today's ingredients, a handful of spinach, a 5 inch piece of celery, a handful of pineapple, a banana and out of a bag of mixed frozen fruit a large handful of red grapes, kiwi and apple. Then a couple of tablespoonfuls of yoghurt and topped up with water.
mmmmm yes very yummy!
I have found that preparing bags of a mixed fruits, banana, apple, pear, grapes, pineapple, oranges, kiwis etc means that when you go to make your lunch (or breakfast) its nearly all ready to zap. Pop them in the freezer and they will keep till you are ready for them. It also means you get a nice cold drink instead of a lukewarm one!
If you don't , what combination would you try if you could?
